Classic Sheepskins

Classic Sheepskins is a wool-skin tannery based in Napier, New Zealand. It is family owned and has been operating for over 45 years. We tan sheepskins and turn them into beautiful sheepskin rugs. But we don’t stop there. We continue the process on-site, making all sorts of beautiful products you and your family will love.

Our modern manufacturing process has been heralded as one of the best in the world but we still maintain the values of traditional craftsmanship that are integral to the success of our business.
Our product range includes; sheepskin slippers, moccasins, sheepskin boots, sheepskin seat covers, baby rugs and a large range of children’s slippers including baby crochet bootees, for those precious new feet.
We pride ourselves on quality and that’s why we do the whole process ourselves. From tanning through to manufacturing it’s all done on-site, in our factory run by local employees.
