It was a series of things that inspired Hardy to give up his career as a successful teacher in Business and Management studies, his established life and risk pretty much everything to come up with the idea of bringing the Indian Street Food and Sweets to Hawke’s Bay.
Having been born and raised in a family where food is regarded as a second God, Hardy realised that his only solace is in preparing food, even though teaching wasn’t too bad an occupation.
What sets us apart is the most unique miscellany of Indian Sweets, street food from North to South of India, not to mention, our most outlandish and authentic selection of Indian curries and breads at the best priced menu, without compromising on quality.
We don’t title ourselves to be the best Indian Restaurant … we leave this to the able judgement of our patrons.
