Meadowood House was architecturally designed in 1934 as a replacement for the farm homestead devastated by the Napier earthquake in 1931. It was built to the latest Art Deco fashion by the Janette family, and has been passed through a series of very lucky owners since then.
Meadowood is ideally situated off State Highway 50, between Napier and Hastings, and only 15 minutes from Hawke’s Bay airport. The wonderful wineries of Hawke’s Bay are on our doorstep, as are cycle trails, golf courses, markets, galleries, and so many more recreational options.
