Have you had your say on Napier City Council’s Annual Plan for 2019/20?

Submissions close at 12 noon next Monday, 13 May.

The website also has links to additional information about the changes to the Long Term Plan 2018-28 for Napier, and videos providing a look at water and recycling.

Improvements to the city’s drinking water network, and changes to kerbside recycling collection and costs are two of the main topics.

The other question which requires feedback is whether a Hawke’s Bay Disaster Relief Trust should be set up by the Hawke’s Bay Civil Defence Emergency Management Group. Establishing the trust will allow a fund to be built up as a charity before a disaster occurs, allowing the faster distribution of donated funds to those most in need when it’s needed.

Napier City Council will meet on 4 June to consider Annual Plan funding application requests, followed by an Extraordinary meeting of Council for deliberations.

The final Annual Plan is due to be adopted on 28 June.
