The Clive War Memorial Pool will be closed for one more week as contractors take the opportunity to complete some additional works.
Normal hours will resume the week commencing Monday 4 February with the Learn to Swim Programme beginning Monday 11 February.
While Clive War Memorial Pool is closed, Aqua Classes will continue to be offered at the Village Pool in Havelock North 8:15am-9:00am Monday to Friday and 6:00pm-6:45pm Tuesday and Thursday nights.
During this time both Village and Frimley Pools will continue to offer extended opening hours. Village Pool will be open – Monday to Friday 6am-6pm and 10am-6pm in the weekends. While Frimley Pool’s hours are 6am-6pm Monday to Thursday and 10am-6pm Friday to Sunday.
Village Pool has five pools: a 33-metre pool, two-metre deep pool, learners’ pool, toddlers’ pool and babies’ splash pool, while at Frimley there is a 50m pool, a learners’ pool, and a toddlers’ pool.
On Wednesday 30 January through till Friday 1 February, Swim Heretaunga – Flaxmere will also be closed to the public as urgent works are undertaken. During this time, swim squads including tri squads will be moved to Frimley Pool. There will be no Aqua Pump class on Wednesday 6 February due to Waitangi Day but classes will resume as normal from Monday 11 February.
The cost of swimming at these four pools is $4 for an adult, $3 for children and over-65s, and $1 for under five-year-olds. Aqua classes (with an instructor) are $5.50 per person. Discounted entry is available with an Aqua Card.
