Woodford House Celebrates 125th Birthday

Nestled in the foothills of Havelock North, Woodford House has seen thousands of women tread a path to success in the past 125 years. Their stories line the corridors of the school in an attempt to inspire the next generation. The boarding-focused, girls’ school was established by unwavering British expat Annie Mabel Hodge, who was passionately focused on giving “the girls of the Dominion of New Zealand the advantages of the English training, adapted to suit the conditions of this country”.
