Since Anna Pierard and Jose Aparicio started the Project Prima Volta (PPV) musical programme just over five years ago, it has sparked life changes and created career potential for more than 160 Hawke’s Bay teenagers.
To describe the couple as being passionate about what they do, and totally devoted, would be huge understatements.
Their passion and devotion has resulted in a slight twist to this year’s Hawke’s Bay TodayPerson of the Year.
Pierard and Aparicio are the Hawke’s Bay Today Person(s) of the Year.
While delighted to receive the award, the real reward was seeing the positive changes in so many young people from diverse backgrounds.
