An opportunity exists to lead change at the forefront of the dynamic New Zealand 3 Waters sector to enable the Central Hawke’s Bay to THRIVE.

Working alongside our internal stakeholders and our strategic contracting partners, the 3 Waters Operations Manager will be accountable for the daily operations and activities on a wide portfolio of 3 Waters assets. Supported by an in-house team and our strategic contracting partners, the successful applicant will ensure continued improvement of how Central Hawke’s Bay water infrastructure performs.

With experience in managing stakeholder relationships, engaging with clients, contractors and the public, you will be able to demonstrate experience in managing diverse asset portfolios and work programmes and have a working knowledge of relevant assets and processes.

To be successful in this role, you will be comfortable in all environments from the office, to the boardroom or council chambers and in the treatment plant or on the network with crews. An ability to translate strategy into action is a must and beyond all else, you will be an excellent communicator and team player.
