Event Planner – Napier City Council

Event Details

The Napier Conference Centre has recently been refurbished and extended making the venue more attractive to attract conferences, meetings and special events.

We are now looking for an Event Planner to join our team, working with our clients to coordinate and create memorable events.

Reporting to the Client Relations Coordinator you may have recently graduated from EIT or other tertiary institute with a Diploma in Tourism or similar, or you will have one to two years’ experience and knowledge in the tourism and hospitality industry.

You will need to have good time management, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with the team to deliver beyond the client’s expectation. The ability to work flexible hours is essential.
