An opportunity has arisen to lead the development of a procurement and contracts management framework to add value, reduce risks and align activities with strategic objectives.
You will lead the coordination and integration of all procurement planning and operational delivery across the organisation and establish a procurement ‘centre of excellence’ collaboration model with other Hawke’s Bay Councils.
You will have an appropriate degree qualification in supply chain, logistics or business administration, at least 7 years’ proven knowledge and experience in procurement and supply chain management, along with experience in commercial/government property roles and procurement strategies.
You will have knowledge of contracts and negotiations including the legal aspects of tendering and contracts, experience with MBIE rules of procurement and NZS contracts such as 3910, along with risk management and sourcing.
