Lines Company Becomes Involved In Conservation Project

Event Details

Unison has gone green after entering a three-year partnership with river restoration charity Maraetotara Trust (MTT).

The trust, run by volunteers, is working to protect, enhance and restore the 43km of the Maraetotara River.

Unison, a lines company, owned by Napier and Hastings electricity consumers, has committed to supporting the trust’s planting programme through until May 2022. Saff will also volunteer their time.

Unison Group chief executive Ken Sutherland said Unison was delighted to build the relationship with the trust.
