Central Hawke’s Bay District Council is excited to provide a space that offers digital services and programmes for the entire community as well as the Waipukurau Library for at least the next five years.

Everything you need in the one location!

Te Huinga Wai builds on work already underway through Council’s Economic Development Action Plan, Central Hawke’s Bay’s Integrated Spatial Plan 2050 and the Libraries Strategic Framework and is made possible thanks to funding from the Provincial Growth Fund.

Te Huinga Wai offers the following

  • Digital access to businesses, self-employed people and the wider Central Hawke’s Bay community.
  • Waipukurau Library – including workshops and other offerings ie: Composting Workshops; Knit ‘n’ Natter sessions and more.
  • A range of programmes including School Holiday Programmes; Talk Digital – support and advice; Digital Banking – education;
  • AA Services – Learner licence testing, bookings for restricted/ full licences and car registrations.
  • Bookable meeting rooms and spaces with video conference accessibility.
  • FREE WI-FI services.
  • Shared working spaces.
  • Digital products and services.

What you can expect from the Knowledge and Learning Hub – Te Huinga Wai. 

A central space where we have bookable spaces for community, businesses and self employed.

We can cater anywhere from 2-20 with flexible spaces configured to your needs: individual workspace, meeting room(s), board room, classroom, conference room.

  • Internet wireless connectivity.
  • Smart TV’s, integrated audio to enable advanced multimedia presentations.
  • Tea and Coffee Facilities.
